This year, each Sheriff’s Office on the odd-numbered year list will accept scholarship applications through February 28, 2011, for awards applicable to the 2011/12 academic year. If you are a permanent resident of a county on the odd-numbered school year list, please apply by the February 28, 2011, deadline.

Logan County CSU Alumni Association Scholarship

This is a $2,000 scholarship that must be used at CSU. Priority will be given to residents of Logan County and adjacent counties in Northeastern Colorado.

Weld County Livestock Association Scholarship

$500 awarded to graduating High School Senior and students of any grade level in college or trade school. Must be a Weld County resident with an agriculture background. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
Applications are available from the Weld County Livestock Association, Weld County Extension Office and all High School Counselors

Jack Petteys Memorial Scholarship (Kit Carson County)

Awarded to a graduating student of a Kit Carson County High School who has demonstrated exceptional ability in an academic program and an aptitude for successful college work. Of the annual amount, one-half is available each semester of attendance for fees, books, and incidental expenses. The recipient must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.00 each semester to keep this scholarship in effect. The recipient is chosen by the Northeastern Junior College Scholarship Committee.

Jack Petteys Memorial Scholarship (Logan County)

Awarded to two graduating students of Logan County high schools who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their programs and an aptitude for successful college work. One such scholarship is designated for a graduate of Sterling Senior High School and one is designated for a graduate of a Logan County high school outside of Sterling. Of the annual amount, one-half is made available each semester of attendance for fees, books, and incidental expenses.
The recipient must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.00 each semester to keep the scholarship in effect. Recipients are chosen by the Northeastern Junior College Scholarship Committee.

Jack Petteys Memorial Scholarship (Morgan County)

Awarded to two graduating students of Morgan County high schools who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their academic programs and an aptitude for successful college work. One scholarship is designated for a graduate of Brush High School; the other is designated for a graduate of any high school in Morgan County. Of the annual amount, one-half is made available each semester of attendance for fees, books, and incidental expenses. The recipient must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.00 each semester to keep the scholarship in effect. Recipients are chosen by the Northeastern Junior College Scholarship Committee.
