Welcome to Student Services at Northeastern Junior College
MISSION STATEMENT
Student Services at Northeastern Junior College provides a variety of essential services, programs and academic support for all students and staff. Student Services programs are the "out of class" living and learning connection for students that enhances their academic and personal achievement. A variety of programs provide each student the opportunity to experience leadership, participation, group and personal growth, development of citizenship and personal responsibility. The services support the academic mission and provide the non-classroom essentials to serve students. The college encourages and promotes student participation and utilization of the following programs and services.
Welcome! The Office of Student Services (at some campuses called the office of the Dean of Students) is the central office for a range of services and activities designed to support student academic success and to enrich each student's experience at NJC. This office is responsible for overseeing most of the student services, student programming and student life offices and activites listed on the following Student Services menu pages. If you have any questions about any of these areas, feel free to drop by or call at (970) 521-6608. You can also reach us through email at judy.giacomini@njc.edu
In addition to the administrative role, we serve as an important student resource. If you don't know where to turn, we are happy to assist. We are also the office to see for help with any of the following:

Student Code of Conduct: The Office of Student Services administers the college's code of student conduct which describes and provides a process for addressing inappropriate student behavior. The conduct code fits within the more general statement of students rights and responsibilities, described above (see Student Handbook ).
Diversity: Northeastern Junior College works to foster a multicultural environment, one that promotes pluralism and values human differences. Students of different ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, educational backgrounds, sexual orientations and educational goals are welcome to NJC. We beieve that a diverse college population provides all students opportunity to learn from a wide variety of people. This diversity adds an important and valuable dimension to the college experience that helps students succeed in the larger world.
