December 5, 2017, Sterling, CO – Northeastern Junior College (NJC) will be operating on special hours during semester break, starting December 15, 2017 through January 15, 2018.

The Monahan Learning Center (MLC) hours will be as follows: Friday, December 15, 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 16 through Monday, January 1, closed; and will be open Monday through Friday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., January 2 through January 12.

The MLC will be holding a “Fine Forgiveness Week,” Monday, December 11 through Friday, December 15. If you have items checked out from the MLC and owe fines, return the overdue items during finals week and all fines will be forgiven.

The Bank of Colorado Event Center hours will be as follows: Saturday, December 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Sunday, December 17, closed; Monday, December 18 through Thursday, December 21, 5 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, December 22, 5 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, December 23 through Tuesday, January 1, closed; Tuesday, January 2 through Thursday, January 4, 5 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, January 5 and Friday, January 12, 5 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, January 6 and Saturday, January 13, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Sunday, January 7, closed; Monday, January 8 through Thursday, January 11, 5 a.m.-8 p.m. The Bank of Colorado Event Center will return to regular business hours Sunday, January 14, please visit for hours.

The administrative office buildings, Walker Hall and Hays Student Center, will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. most of the semester break. Starting Saturday December 23 through Monday, January 1, all buildings and offices will be closed, regular office hours resume Tuesday, January 2. There are a number of national holidays NJC does not observe each year in order to give full-time year-round staff time off between Christmas and New Years.
