Guess what happens when you donate funds towards Scholarships at NJC; it doubles!  By collaborating together, we help students attending Northeastern Junior College achieve their higher education goals.

Northeastern Junior College Foundation in partnership with the County Commissioners of NJC service area including Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma are recipients of the 2016 Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI).  The COSI is a program of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.  The program is designed to ensure that students are not just given financial support, but they are also given the tools necessary to succeed and earn a post-secondary degree or certificate to create successful outcomes that Colorado needs to create a world-class workforce.  The goal of COSI is to increase post-secondary credential completion and preparedness of Colorado students to earn a livable wage, graduate with less debt and positively contribute to the growth of our state’s economy. The COSI will match 1:1 for every dollar donated to NJC for the COSI fund, with the potential of awarding over $100,000 in scholarships to our eligible students.
