This area of Colorado is home to many accomplished artists and never is that more apparent than at the annual Regional Art Exhibit held at Northeastern Junior College (NJC).  The college has been soliciting entries for this exhibit, which are now on display in the Peter L. Youngers Fine Arts Gallery inside the recently remodeled E.S. French Hall.  This exhibition showcases the tremendous artistic talent of student and professional artists of Sterling and the surrounding communities. The exhibition hosts a diverse array of media including ceramics, drawings, paintings, photographs, and sculptures.

The show runs September 19th through October 13th and will be open during regular gallery hours which are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. or by special appointment.  On Sunday, September 25th, there will be an Artist Opening Reception from 2-4 p.m. with awards at 3:30 p.m.  The Closing Reception will be held Thursday, October 13th, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.  These events are free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.
