The Northeastern Junior College Extended Studies department and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce join efforts to present the October 11th Ladies Lunch Out educational venue which will feature information on acupuncture. Specifically, Dr. Teresa Hill will present “Healing Thru Acupuncture,” discussing how this medical technique adjusts and alters the body’s energy flow into healthier patterns.
Acupuncture is used to treat a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions. It involves the use of sharp, thin needles that are inserted in the body at various meridian points.
Ladies Lunch Out, now in its third year, offers educational presentations to area women in a short, affordable format. Men are also welcome to attend the events. It also provides an opportunity for some business networking among those who participate. The presentation, which costs $15 to attend, includes your lunch. Doors open for registration at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is served at noon and the presentation runs from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m., allowing adequate time to get back to work by 1 p.m.
If you have an interest in learning about acupuncture and what a “hot needle” treatment is, make a reservation now and attend this event. Call 521-6900 to register. You must register by Tuesday, October 9th.
