The NJC Baseball Program is proud to announce the recent signings of two of it’s current sophomores to the Division 1 level. Catcher Jordan Procyshen and third baseman David Head have both committed to attend Northern Kentucky University for the 2013-2014 regular season. Both Procyshen and Head join a large group of former Plainsmen who have moved on to the Division 1 level.
Head Coach Bryan Shepherd had the following to say about the duo: “I think it is a good sign for both of them, going into a fledgling Division 1 program. They will have the opportunity to help build them into a winner.”
Both Jordan and David came to Northeastern from north of the U.S border. Jordan hails from Okotoks, Alberta Canada, while David came to NJC via Pickering, Ontario Canada. As freshman, they were both ever day starters for the Plainsmen, and helped NJC to a record setting 44 win season. They look to help guide a very talented Plainsmen team once again into the national spotlight in 2013.
Best of luck to Jordan and David in the next step of their college baseball journey!
