Non-Traditional Student Scholarships

Daniels Fund
The Daniels Fund is a college prep and scholarship program founded by Bill Daniels. His fund has established scholarship awards to serve many different students in Colorado. If you are a non-traditional student and/or you have received your GED and would like to pursue a college degree, you may qualify for the Daniels Fund which will help pay any unmet financial need. Please contact the NJC Financial Aid Office for more details and an application.

Frost Foundation Scholarship
This is a scholarship designed for the non-traditional student (25 years old or older). To qualify, the student must be a full-time NJC student, have a High School diploma or GED certificate and have a documented financial need. There is one award for $250 for the Fall Semester and one award for the Spring Semester. Please fill out the application here or pick up an application in the NJC Counseling and Advising Center.

Dinsdale Transition Scholarship
This scholarship is specifically for female, nontraditional students (single parent, displaced homemaker, or over 23 years of age) who are in a vocational program of study at NJC. This scholarship is due on March 15th and is for up to 4 semesters of study. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually.
