Our Mission

The Comprehensive Learning Center (CLC), located in Monahan Library, exists to assist students in the adjustment to campus life and the rigors of academic study. The CLC provides a variety of services to improve the retention and graduation rates of NJC students and helps make the most of your educational experience.

Hours of operation:

Thanksgiving Closure: Sunday Nov. 22 to Friday, Nov. 27

Sunday: 4pm - 9pm
Monday-Thursday: 8am - 9pm
Friday: 8am - 5pm

We Offer:
• Individual and group tutoring - by appointment or drop-in basis
• College preparation coursework in Math, Reading, and Writing
• Assistance in writing resumes and practice interviews for students seeking employment
• Academic, career and personal counseling
• Accommodation services for students with disabilities
