Marco Juarez began his soccer career in Alvin, Texas, where he helped lead his high school to their first district championship in seven years. After graduating from Alvin High School he then went on to play collegiate soccer at Southern Nazarene located in Bethany, Oklahoma. Southern Nazarene was part of the NAIA and the Sooner Athletic Conference during his time there. Throughout his four years at Southern Nazarene, the team went to four NAIA National championships, making it to the final four in 2005. Amongst their many achievements Southern Nazarene won four regional tournaments and was undefeated in conference in the 2005 season.  Marco then moved on and played two summers with the Cascade Surge in the Premier Development League located in Salem, Oregon. He had the opportunity to travel to South America as well as to Austria during Euro 2008. After spending some time away from soccer, Marco is every excited to be here at NJC and is looking forward to helping further develop the men’s soccer program.
