A Note from Coach Winchell

Coach Winchell

If you want to be a part of a team that places value on education and provides highly competitive goal-oriented practice session, consider this your invitation to visit with the NJC Rodeo Team. Through dedication and hard work, both in and out of the classroom, I have achieved many educational and rodeo goals. I have had a successful college career, being named the 2016 National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s Goat Tying Champion, a 3-time Goat Tying CNFR Qualifier, a Breakaway Roping CNFR Qualifier, 2X Reserve College National Champion Goat Tier, along with many other Central Rocky Mountain Region All-Around and Regional Titles. Today, I compete in area jackpots, amateur rodeos, instruct goat tying clinics and lessons nationwide, and train horses. I look forward to sharing my personal experiences and knowledge with you as you work toward achieving your own goals both and in out of the arena.

Regards,

Shelby Winchell
